The main cause of vaginal laxity
1. Middle-aged and elderly women over 40 years old
Vaginal aging naturally, ovarian function gradually declines, the amount of estrogen decreases, muscle tension decreases, mucous membranes become sluggish, vaginal relaxation, dryness, and lack of elasticity.
2. Women who have given birth
From pregnancy to childbirth, the maximum vaginal expansion of a woman is several hundred times, especially in the case of natural childbirth, vaginal injury caused by mid-term labor induction, and multiple childbirths. The elastic fibers of the vagina are completely broken.
3. Women with a sexual history of more than three years
Women after the age of 30 or with a sexual history of more than 3 years may experience aging and relaxation of the vagina due to prolonged use and frequent stretching. Vaginal relaxation and lenient appear, the stimulation response is reduced, and the vaginal wall exudate is reduced, which directly affects the sexual quality of both parties.
4. Women after human abortion and drug abortion
In the early stages of pregnancy, the muscles of the vagina and pelvis begin to relax. During abortion and medical abortion, the elasticity of the vagina is weakened after expansion, and the unclean tissue after the operation remains in the vaginal folds and posterior fornix, expanding the inner wall of the vagina.
How to exercise to improve vaginal relaxation
1. Lie on your back against the edge of the bed, place your buttocks on the edge of the bed, and stretch your legs straight out in the air, do not touch the ground. Hold the edge of the bed with both hands to prevent slipping. Bring your legs together and slowly lift them up, moving up toward your body, keeping your knees straight. As your legs are raised above your torso, support your legs with your hands and bring them toward your belly, keeping your knees straight. Then, slowly lower it and return the legs to their original position.
2. Lie on the bed and gently insert a finger into the vagina. At this time, try to relax the body as much as possible, and then actively contract the muscles to clamp the fingers. Breathe in when the muscles are contracted. You can feel the wrapping force of the muscles on the fingers. As you relax the muscles, exhale and repeat several times. Each time the muscles continue to contract for 3 seconds, then relax for 3 seconds. You can now take out your fingers and continue to practice relaxing the contracted muscles.
Concentrate on feeling the contraction and relaxation of the muscles. Gradually go from tensing the muscles for 5 seconds to contracting for 10 seconds, and it takes about a few weeks to get there. If you want to perform Kegel exercises for at least 6 weeks, if you can contract and relax freely during the exercise, you can perform a rapid transition from contraction to relaxation, and you can contract and relax once a second.
3. In addition, it is also meaningful to practice vaginal muscles to push outwards and downwards. At the beginning of the practice, you can lie on your back on the bed, relax your body, and focus on the movement of the levator ani contraction. Special attention should be paid not to exert force on the legs, buttocks, and abdominal muscles; after experiencing the contraction of the pelvic floor muscles, focus the contraction on the vagina and urethra, and continue to repeat the frequency of shrinking and releasing.
Do pelvic floor muscle exercises 1-2 times a day, 10 minutes each time. When the practice lasts for about 6-8 weeks, not only the vaginal muscles will be more tense, but the sensitivity to the vagina will also increase. Once you are proficient, you can do this exercise anytime, anywhere, sitting, standing or lying down. Kegel balls are a great way to exercise.
