This was the soup special of the day. It was chicken and wild rice, which was thick and delicious (even though there wasn't much in the way of chicken). It came with 4 fresh slices of bread. The square pastry at the bottom of the picture was an apple pie pastry. Light and flaky, this was delicious! More similar to a pastry twist, this pastry had great tea paste filling. The bread was flaky and delicious! The pastry was perfectly crispy and flakey. The whipped cream was thick and delicious, and the fruit was fresh. What more could one want from an early morning pastry?
Almond pastry breakfast. The pastry is crispy. Goes well with coffee.
